At Gazelle Talent – Consultoria Empresarial, Lda (owner of the brands: digiK) we care about your security and believe in the need to protect the privacy of the personal information you share with us. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users, clients, candidates or service providers are informed that the personal data provided to us, whether when filling in any form, via email or by any other means, will be treated in accordance with this Personal Data Protection Policy. This document aims to clarify the holders of personal data regarding the data we collect about them, the reason for such collection, as well as the options we make available for the holders of such data to access, rectify or delete the information, among other relevant information.

 
1. INFORMATION COLLECTED

1.1 A GAZELLE TALENT collects data about its visitors, customers, trainees and suppliers when they register by creating an account, access the aforementioned Websites or fill in electronic and paper forms.
1.2 For GAZELLE TALENT, the security and privacy of personal data are of utmost importance, which is why the collection and processing of data is always based on the consent of the holder or when necessary for the provision of our services, always with a view to improving them.

 
2. REGISTRATION FOR PERSONAL DATA AT GAZELLE TALENT

2.1 When a user transmits their personal data to GAZELLE TALENT (through duly identified models, documents and platforms), they are asked to provide a set of personal data.
2.2 This information is essential to guarantee the registration process and provide a personalized service.
2.3 After registering - and if you have given your permission to do so - you may be sent news updates, as well as information about courses and training solutions, surveys, promotions, newsletters or commercial offers.
2.4 You may cancel/limit this service at any time by sending an email to the contact mentioned in point 13 of this Privacy Policy.

 
3. CHILDREN'S DATA

3.1 We do not intentionally collect data from children, nor do we have a way of identifying them, unless we collect additional, more intrusive information in order to be able to reach this conclusion.
3.2 Given that the responsibility for monitoring the child in all aspects of his/her life, including the use of technological means, lies with the holder of parental responsibilities, we will promptly delete the children’s data as soon as the holder of parental responsibilities notifies us that such data has been collected.

 
4. DATA PROCESSING OPERATIONS ARE LAWFUL WHEN:

a) The processing of personal data is necessary for the execution of a contract;
b) When the data subject has given his/her consent to the processing of his/her data;
c) When the processing arises from a legal obligation.

 
5. HOW WE USE THE DATA WE COLLECT

5.1 We use the information we collect to:
a) Optimize the user's visit to our websites;
b) Respond to user requests, in particular to send newsletters and information about our services;
c) Statistical purposes, navigation data, which will be pseudonymized;
d) Provide, maintain, protect and improve our services, as well as develop new ones;
e) Ensure the exercise of the rights of data subjects;

6. COMUNICATION OF DATA

6.1 A GAZELLE TALENT communicates the information to its business partners or subcontractors.
6.2 To this end, the user gives his/her consent, and may withdraw it at any time, request the deletion of his/her data, as well as exercise any of his/her rights set out below, in the chapter “RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS”.

 
7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

7.1 The internet has no borders. Using the internet and its services necessarily implies the transmission of information at an international level. Therefore, by interacting with us and consenting to the communication of data to third parties, you are acknowledging that you know and consent to the processing of data on this scale.
7.2 TWe take steps to ensure that appropriate measures and controls are applied whenever our service providers and hosting service providers transfer your information outside the national territory, in order to protect said information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
7.3 All GAZELLE TALENT brands are subject to GAZELLE TALENT data protection policies, which aim to protect data in accordance with European data protection legislation.
7.4 GAZELLE TALENT has access to personal data as the data controller.
7.5 Business partners and subcontractors only access data in this capacity: within the scope of the execution of contracts or legal requirements.
7.6 In these cases, they will only have access to the personal data strictly necessary for the pursuit of the intended purposes.

 
8. AUTOMATED DECISIONS, INCLUDING PROFILING

8.1 We collect information about you with your explicit consent in order to be able to provide you with a personalized service in presenting services according to your preferences.
8.2. You may object using the procedure described below under “DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS”.

 
9. SECURITY MEASURES

9.1 GAZELLE TALENT is concerned about your privacy and the protection of your personal data, and has therefore implemented technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality of your data.
9.2 Any subcontracted entity or partner will also be obliged to take strict security measures and will only process the information in accordance with our instructions.

 
10. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

10.1 If you are located in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with identical data protection laws, in some cases you have the following rights:
a) The right to be informed of how we use and obtain access to your information;
b) The right to have your information rectified or erased or to impose limitations on its processing;
c) The right to object to the processing of your information, for example, for direct marketing purposes or where the processing is based on our legitimate interests;
d) The right to have any information you have provided to us returned to you in an automated manner, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to have it sent directly to another company, whenever technically feasible ("data portability");
e) Whenever the processing of your information is based on your consent, the right to withdraw consent is subject to legal or contractual restrictions;
f) The right to object to any decision based on automated processing of your personal data, including profiling;
g) The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for data protection issues (for example, in Portugal, the National Data Protection Commission);
h) You may, by the same means and at any time, withdraw the consent you have given for the processing of your personal data, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing that has been carried out up to that point, based on the consent you have previously given.
10.2. The User is hereby informed that, in order to execute requests, the provision of data relating to identity (name, ID), address, telephone number and e-mail will be considered mandatory, as this data is necessary for the formalization and provision of the services offered by GAZELLE TALENT.

 
11. PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD - I

11.1 The data will be stored for the time necessary to execute the contract, as well as for the time required by national and/or international legislation.
11.2 Subsequently, they will be stored in the form of a communication history for a period of ten (10) years, unless the user requests its deletion, via the e-mail address indicated above.
11.3 If the data is processed for the purpose of sending commercial communications or for statistical purposes, it may be stored for a period of ten (10) years, unless the user objects.

 
12. PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD - II

12.1 Likewise, if the user/candidate has sent us his/her CV, his/her data will be stored until his/her application for employment/service provision is resolved, or for five (5) years, if new jobs that fit his/her profile may arise.
12.2 Notwithstanding the above, if you are hired, your data will be stored for the duration of your employment/service provision relationship.
12.3 The provision of data for this purpose is mandatory.
12.4 Otherwise, the application cannot be managed.
12.5 The data will be kept for the entire period during which the service provision relationship is maintained, and even after that, until the statute of limitations of any liabilities that may arise from it.

 
13. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

GAZELLE TALENT reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy, so we advise you to read this space regularly, as well as the Terms and Conditions of our websites.
